The hotel's location next to a charming church and close to the slopes in the Cervinia-Zermatt area is simply perfect for a ski trip. The staff at this hotel is friendly and attentive, ensuring that guests have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the rooms are clean and comfortable, with some offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast spread is diverse and includes options like pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurt, and fresh fruit, ensuring guests start their day off right.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Breakfast was good, including fresh fruit and meat/cheese trays. Rooms were newly remodelled, and cleaned well everyday (although we did not receive new soap, shampoo, and cups -- fortunately we had some of our own). Dining staff was friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable at 100 euros / night.
Town of Maen was small and had limited services, but most importantly logistics to ski slopes was difficult. From the description, I thought the hotel was located much closer to the ski resort but in fact was located outside the main resort area. thus, the free ski bus only picked up once on the morning and returned once on the afternoon. If you stay 1 km closer, the bus picks up and drops off every hour, sometimes twice an hour. The bus from/to Chatillion/Cervinia only came by very early in the morning (6:30am, but you miss breakfast) or mid-morning (10:00 am), which was not convenient for skiing; the return times were reasonable.

Very clean room. They tidied up and cleaned the room every day. The breakfast buffet was very satisfactory with big variety of food, fruit and drinks. Big parking available and the bus stop was very close to the hotel.
The staff did not speak English well at all. Because of our flight we arrived later than planned, and when I called to let them know, I couldn't communicate with the receptionist. I had to tell someone from the street to speak on the phone and translate for me...

Very kind, friendly and helpfull staff. The food in the restaurant is simple, but good compared to the prices.
You need a car to get to the ski area. The staff do not speak english, but it is possible to communicate anyway. No internet.

Nice intimate atmosphere of the small hotel in the small borough, room is comfortable, meal is good.
Rather far from the sci lift and sci bus is very rare.

This hotel had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. The room was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom and large balcony. The hotel was conveniently located just next to a charming church, and although its bells rang every hour, they stopped at 10 PM and didn't start again until 8 AM, ensuring peaceful nights. The well-functioning Wi-Fi was a bonus, especially for my children. Parking was not a problem, and there were convenient transportation options, including a free hotel ski shuttle to the nearby slopes in Cervinia-Zermatt.
Can't think of anything.

The room was nice. The meals in the restaruant were great and reasonably priced. We received a great recommendation to visit the Bard Fortress. It was not on our plan, but turned out to be an excellent destination.

The room were very cleaned. The hotel was a little void because it was at the begining of winter time, so the breakfast, for example, was not complete as said by the waiter.
The parking area is small. If the occupancy of the hotel is full, it must be a problem. And it is in a place that you do need a car to arrive at cervinia - it is 8 km to the sky area.

Great location near the ski area, just a short drive away. . Comfortable rooms with ample space and nice balconies. Friendly and helpful staff who accommodated specific dietary needs.
Inadequate shower enclosure resulted in a wet floor after showering. my Christmas stay at this hotel offered a great location close to the ski area, perfect for a winter getaway.

The hotel was a great choice for my Easter break. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and nice views. The breakfast was good, with enough options to please everyone. The hotel is well located, with easy access to skiing facilities and beautiful hiking trails. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful.
The only negative aspect was the limited storage space in the rooms, which made it a bit difficult to keep everything organized. the dinner menu was a bit limited and could benefit from more variety.
